The musical “Nine” is set to a Venetian SPA (Roman bathhouse). Here you meet the forty-year-old Italian movie director Guido Contini and joins his travails and concerns. Guido has twenty-one women in his life that first appears as an orchestra he mentally conducts. His last three films have been flops, and Guido is now suffering from a crisis. Guido is also married to Luisa and is desperately trying to repair his crumbling marriage.

Jack participated in a concert version of the show at Royal Albert Hall together with other stars as Elaine Paige. There was also released a recording of the show.
